My first Thanksgiving shared with friends rather than family. I’m completely looking forward to it for several reasons, all of which I will spare you but for one: I am making my very first Thanksgiving turkey.
The compound butter is in the fridge, the bird is thawed and almost ready to come out and be assaulted by my anxious little hands. The stuffing recipe is ready to go and everyone should be showing up by 2:30.
PS, I’m backlogged two Top Chefs. I’ll watch them tomorrow and promise to post. So far I’ve stayed away from all spoilers… so far.
